SOG Airmen continue supporting Indonesian relief efforts

TABING AIRFIELD, Indonesia -- A combat controller from the 353rd Special Operations Group, guides an MC-130P Combat Shadow as it lands here Oct. 4. U.S. and Indonesian military officials surveyed and opened the closed airfield to support humanitarian relief operations near Padang in western Indonesia. MC-130P aircrews have flown more than 15 flights, moved about 100 people, and more than 160,000 pounds of cargo throughout the affected area. (Courtesy photo)
