17th SOS pays tribute to MC-130P retirement
Four MC-130P Combat Shadow aircraft from the 17th Special Operations Squadron conduct a 4-ship formation off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 16, 2014. The MC-130P conducts single or multi-ship infiltration, exfiltration and resupply of special operations forces. Retiring and being replaced by the MC-130J Commando II, the flight marked the last time the Combat Shadow will conduct a four-ship formation at Kadena.
