Air Commandos conduct HALO airdrops at Teak Piston 2016
Members from Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 1324 and Philippine Army Light Reaction Regiment (LRR) execute high-altitude, low-opening (HALO) airdrops from a MC-130H Combat Talon II during Teak Piston 2016. Though the HALO airdrop was not an official part of exercise, the presence of a MC-130H in the Philippines allowed for a unique training engagement with joint and combined partners.
