SOG Airmen practice survival, evasion skills

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airmen from the 353rd Special Operations Group trekked through the foliage of Area 1 here to stay proficient in their Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape skills during a training exercise.

Every three years aircrew members must complete a SERE refresher course.
