Air Commandos selected for top enlisted rank Published March 19, 2010 KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Air Force officials recently selected three senior master sergeants assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group for promotion to chief master sergeant Nov. 5. The selectees are: Andrew Dzurissin, 17th Special Operations Squadron, Lonnie Ranger, 353rd Maintenance Squadron, and Mark Smith, 320th Special Tactics Squadron. Air Force officials selected 475 of 2,276 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant for a selection rate of 20.87 percent. The average score for those selected was 662.78, with an average time in grade of 3.40 and time in service of 23.23 years, respectively, and 24.49 for decorations. The average score was based on the following point averages: 135.00 for enlisted performance reports, 63.57 for the Air Force supervisory exam and 388.58 board score. Those selected will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in January.
